___ This morning I traveled with a friend to a Zoo just about a mile from Mt: Rushmore SD, where the animals are free to roam._— As you enter the park there is a huge sign that read please don't leave your vehicle or feed the animals._— So we proceeded to head into the park and came upon some Elk as our first encounter with the wildlife._— They are so beautiful and majestic and are one of my favorite animals._— Then as we drove a little more we came upon some giraffe and there was a giraffe that had given birth to twins._— This is a very rare occurrence and a real miracle to witness._— The next animals we came upon were a pack of wolves they are gorgeous animals but I'm not impressed by them._— As we came around this curve right in front of us was a pack of baboons which the friend I was traveling with._— Said that this was his favorite primate and so we stopped to observe them and had forgotten to roll the windows up._— So before we knew it there was a couple of them that had entered the car._— As I sat there shaking in my boots I grabbed an umbrella that I had and opened it to protect myself._— But my friend risked getting out of the car to remove them and one of them left right away._— But the other one was a little more comfortable in the car and sat down to rest I guess._— So my friend being in danger kept going shoo-shoo but the baboon wouldn't move._— So my friend got back in the car leaving the door open hoping that she would leave on her own._— But she wasn't moving and leaving the door opened we risked letting more of them entering the car._— So he got a banana out of the snack bag we had and got out of the car again._— And began to give her the banana when all of the sudden she not only grabbed the banana._— But grabbed him also right near his ba!!s oh I got so scared for him.__ So I started yelling at the darn thing and finally she let him go and I said get in the car to my friend and he did in great pain._— By then the Park Ranger saw the fuss going on by our car and realized he just got lucky that my friend was just hurt._— And so the park Ranger came over so he could help us to their cliniic to get treated._— My friend had to have a few stitches and was so lucky that she grabbed him where she did.___ Because he would be singing  saprano today if she had grabbed him just an inch closer to his nether region._— So as we go to leave the park the Ranger said to him next time read the signs._— Because they read Please Don't Feed The Animals but for sure they said Please Don't Feed The Baboons.__— Written & Copy Rights Belong to._— Maria-Lyn
