Extraordinary Rendition (film). ___This story does say a lot on the program however it has been mostly edited, to sound. Like every other wishy washy, story the Government wants tamed down. And so the Main Stream Media will beable to report on it so that We The People, won't realize how illegal and Corrupt it is. Because it still continues under the Obama Administration today. And although it is said that we only send these so called Suspected Terrorist's to be punished by their Own Countries. Does not obsolve us of the guilt of them still being tortured, and some possibly even dying under the program. This is my update of the Dirty Deed since it still occurs today, and is still a violation of International Law no matter how innocent the Obama Administration want to make it sound. And what I would like to know is do We The People of America want to be a Country that lets two Administration of from being guilty of commiting War Crimes in Our Names. Or are we finally going to allow the International Community investigate this and hold the criminals responsible for their action's. We the People have to decide soon though before too much time has gone by to still hold them accountable under International Law. ___Extraordinary rendition: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search For the 2007 film, see Extraordinary Rendition (film). Extraordinary Rendition and irregular rendition are terms used to describe the apprehension and extrajudicial transfer of a person from one state to another,[1] and the term "torture by proxy" is used by some critics to describe situations in which the U.S. has purportedly transferred suspected terrorists to countries known to employ harsh interrogation techniques that may rise to the level of torture. It has been alleged that torture has been employed with the knowledge or acquiescence of the United States (a transfer of anyone to anywhere for the purpose of torture is a violation of US law), although Condoleezza Rice (then the United States Secretary of State) stated in an April 2006 radio interview that the United States does not transfer people to places where it is known they will be tortured.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8] Critics have argued that "ghost detainees", "secret prisoners", and references to "detainees in black sites" amount to little more than "enforced disappearances" by the United States under international human rights law.[9]
The United States' Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) runs a global apprehension and incarceration operation of suspected terrorists, known as “extraordinary rendition”, which since 2001 has captured an estimated 3,000 people and transported them around the world.[10][11][12][13] While the Obama administration has tried to distance itself from some of the harshest counterterrorism techniques, it has also said that at least some forms of renditions will continue.[14] Currently the administration continues to allow rendition only "to a country with jurisdiction over that individual (for prosecution of that individual)" when there is a diplomatic assurance "that they will not be treated inhumanely."[15][16] Prior to the Obama administration, rendered persons were reported to have undergone torture by the receiving states, and it has been alleged that this occurred with the knowledge or cooperation of the administrations of the United States and the United Kingdom.[8] continued
